STARE, my favorite, left just 11 possible answers today, according to WordleBot. Easy!įor others, it may not have been quite so simple - though WordleBot says it's being solved in an average of 3.6 guesses, that score will have been reduced by people like me, who got lucky with their choice of the best Wordle starting words.
In fact, for me the game was nearly identical, because for #618 I played STARE > POUCH > HORSE > WORSE, whereas today I was able to just play the first three of those. After all, it only differs by one letter.
That was game #618, last Monday, and for many people today's puzzle will have followed a very similar pattern.
